The R&D Site Manager delivers all elements of the Innovation Centre site work systems across 3 sites in the SE of the UK, supporting multiple Business Unit Research and Development groups. This role governs and oversees Governance and oversight of the centralised support systems including site Finance, Capital Management, Health Safety and Environment, IT and co-ordination of facility management.This role will be based in Egham, covering 3 sites in the SE of the UK, with a key deliverable being to develop and lead an operational transition plan to re-locate the organisation to a single facility in Reading. The successful candidate must have the ability to travel “regularly” between the 3 sites. QualificationsQualifications/Experience- Experience working in a regulated environment is essential.- Experience running and working in multifunctional teams, as the successful applicant will need to work closely with internal and external business partners. - Proven management skills, to lead a small team of technical and administration resources, responsible for co-ordination of HS&E, Finance and R&D Purchasing ensuring compliance with all internal and external regulations and policies.- Experience in organisational change and transition desirable.- External HS&E Qualification and or understanding of HS&E legal framework in the UK desirable- Experience working for a FMCG in an R&D environment desirable.Skills/Competencies- Can demonstrate personal leadership and the ability to set strategic direction, delivering through effective collaboration and influencing management and internal and external stakeholders.- Has the ability to communicate with all levels of the organisation, including leading communication with external and regulatory bodies for site operations via both written and verbal.- Strong networking skills
