Senior Legal Counsel, Merchant
The candidate will be a subject matter expert in the area of Merchant Services, including applicable payment card networks and NACHA rules. Help develop a unified framework to help the company successfully navigate card network and NACHA rules requirements along with financial services regulations. Provide proactive, timely and business-focused legal advice on card network and NACHA rules, payments law and banking regulation. Advise on the design and modification of Merchant products, the structuring of partner and merchant deals, proactively identify associated risks and recommend mitigation strategies, and review product user experiences to ensure legal compliance with applicable laws and card network/NACHA rules. Participate in strategic projects and initiatives as needed arising out of the Merchant Business Unit.
