Knowledge Management Solutions Analyst

Duties: Consult with legal teams and operational departments throughout the firm to create sites and necessary SharePoint lists, libraries, workflows, permissions, etc. . Leverage knowledge of SharePoint information architecture such as managed metadata, content types, site columns, and other ontological strategies to improve search and user experience. Provide guidance to site owners regarding best practices, content management, and site usage analytics as necessary. Collaborate with the technology team when/as custom development is needed, providing business and functional requirements, participating in acceptance testing, and deployment support, and adhering to the firms’ ITIL standards. Leverage project management fundamentals to ensure that work is accomplished in a timely manner. Create Extranet sites upon request and make necessary customizations based on consultation with requestor. Provide guidance to site owners regarding best practices, content management, and permissions management. Regularly audit sites for quality and audit activity log to remove inactive sites. Bill time daily.
