HEREâ€™S A TASTE OF WHAT YOUâ€™LL BE DOING
Assisting in the implementation of quality and food safety policy and programs to keep pace with future business needs for internal facilities and co-manufacturers, through all stages from design through commercialization.
Implementing innovation projects in partnership with plants to include ensuring compliance to design, quality management systems, and quality attributes.
Partnering with stakeholders to assess and mitigate risk associated with development and commercialization of new/renovated products and equipment/line/plant start-ups
Building organizational capability through the development of quality processes, tools, training, communication, and health checks.
Coaching plant quality on quality or food safety incidents; enabling appropriate risk assessment and corrective action/preventive action plans.
Leading training and coaching internally and externally on quality and/or food safety best practices.
Incorporating quality by identifying key Critical to Quality (CTQ) attributes through the stage gate process.
Proactively assessing available data and expert information to foresee and quickly react to potential and emerging issues.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
B.S. in technical discipline or equivalent work experience
Experience in a manufacturing environment including active HACCP/FSP team participation.
Demonstrated problem solving skills including root cause analysis, risk assessment and corrective/preventive action.
Communication skills and diplomacy that will promote good relations with manufacturing operators, management and other technical and scientific disciplines in the effective execution of projects to accomplish corporate objectives.
Ability to function effectively as a project manager, planner, coordinator, and communicator
Experience in Ready to Eat Cereal or Toasted Pastries (Pop Tart) food environment (plant or corporate role)
