Associate Corporate Counsel, Labor and Employment Legal

The candidate will be working with key partners to provide practical advice and counseling regarding general legal issues such as those relating to wage-and-hour, time-and-attendance, discrimination, disability accommodation, and performance management and discharge. Responsibilities also include managing government agency investigations, creating proactive training, and preparing self-service tools and guidance materials. Should have a J.D. degree and membership in good standing in one State Bar. Should have 3+ years of legal experience (with at least two years at a law firm) practicing employment law. Experience advising on California employment law issues is preferred. Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations. Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams. Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow-through, and meet deadlines. Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong analytical and computer skills.
