The candidate will be researching possible federal/state/local tax benefits, investment incentives, etc. where the company currently does business or is on our radar for near term expansion. Draft laws/policies to submit to our legislative relationships (primarily in Hawaii, but other jurisdictions as needed). Serve as in house Counsel when needed to augment our external Counsel. Should have 6 years experience in a preferably large private firm specializing in the tasks listed above. Experience guiding and counseling organizations through various tax or regularoty issues is required.
