Data Clerk
The candidate opens, scans and saves up to 100 pieces of mail and FedEx received each day in the office. Saves, files, and performs data entry for a variety of incoming document types. Responds to and complete day-to-day clerical requests to open cases or make changes to cases in the system. Corresponds internally to make billing inquiries and request edits to database records. Provides additional support for on-site file organization on projects. Prepares and customizes basic reports within Microsoft. Lifts and carry objects such as large batches of mail and files weighing up to 20 pounds. Prepares e-mail correspondence. Prepares attorney transmittal letters. Scans outgoing hardcopy documents and prepare labels for overnight delivery service. Assists with file closing and on-site file organization on projects. Assists with preparation on to remove on-site files to off-site storage facility. Provides back-up coverage for labor & employment personnel as needed. High school diploma degree is required. Some college degree is preferred. Should have 2+ years of data entry experience required. Typing skills of 45+ WPM is required.
