is a 34-bed unit on the campus of Evergreen Health Monroe. Fairfax cares for both voluntarily admitted and involuntarily committed patients at all locations.
The Mental Health Technician (MHT)
works under the direction of a Registered Nurse as an active participant of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients ranging in age from adolescents through geriatrics, depending on assigned unit. MHTs facilitate structured group activities and assist with milieu management to ensure excellent patient care.
We provide a wide range of services and programs that offer evidence-based treatment proven to have positive outcomes for our patients. Our inpatient and outpatient services offer supportive and compassionate care through specialty programs that are tailored to meet the needs of our patients. Our mission is to provide safe, effective, and compassionate mental health and substance use treatment.

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; C.N.A. certification preferred.
Certification Requirements :
Successful completion of CPR, First Aid, Handle with Care, and Verbal De-Escalation Certifications, which are provided during Fairfax new hire training.
Days 7am – 3:30pm; Evenings 3pm – 11:30pm; Nights 11:00pm – 7:30am
