A law firm in New York City is seeking a highly motivated and skilled General Liability Defense Litigation Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a high-volume caseload of complex litigation cases, providing legal representation to insurance carrier clients, and working collaboratively with an experienced Partner to develop effective litigation strategies.

Job Details:

• Manage a high-volume caseload of complex litigation cases, including personal injury, medical malpractice, and insurance defense matters.
• Provide legal representation to insurance carrier clients, ensuring excellent service and strategic advice.
• Work closely with an experienced Partner to discuss litigation strategy, review case files, and collaborate on legal matters.
• Independently handle own files and maintain a proactive approach to case management.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar admission in New York; New Jersey Bar admission would be a plus.
• Proven experience in defending clients in various litigation matters, demonstrating a strong foundation in general liability defense.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Certifications:

• Active Bar admission in New York.
• Additional Bar admission in New Jersey (preferred).

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.
• Exceptional legal research and writing abilities.
• Collaborative team player with effective interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in legal technology and case management software.

Education:
