Assistant Director, Law School Professional and Career Development
Responsibilities: Will be reporting to the Assistant Dean of Professional and Career Development. Will assist law students with professional development through career counseling, employer development and professional skills training. will work collaboratively with the entire PCD team to develop professional development programs that most effectively prepare students for 21st century practice in a wide range of practice settings. Provide student-centered comprehensive career counseling for students and alumni, both individually and through workshops and related programming; such services will include individually tailored career and professional development counseling, resume and cover letter writing, and interview preparation. Maintain and expand experiential training and post-graduate opportunities. Assist in the development and delivery of PD curricula and programming designed to provide students with training in 21st century competencies required for modern practice. Assist the Assistant Dean for Professional and Career Development on various projects. Serve as a liaison to law student groups and bar associations.
