Garnishment Coordinator
The candidate will review and enter new MD cases received from client into database. Draft answers for all no-asset cases, review answers and auto-import them into Netdocs document management system. Draft MD asset answers and amended answers for review/execution. E-file and mail out answers to both asset and no-asset cases. Enter MD requests for judgment and other court notices into database. Process consents and coordinate with clients for processing and payment. Scan and approve cases in the Netdocs document management system. Accept incoming phone calls from customers of clients, outside plaintiff’s attorneys, and courts to address case statuses. Generate, review, and advise sheets on pay orders and releases and have accounts released and/or funds paid out. Draft special or amended answers and responses to hearing notices. Open and sort department mail. Should have 1-3 years of collections and/or garnishment experience is preferred as well as law firm experience. Should possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college; however, relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be acceptable. Must be detail oriented, highly organized, and able to follow up and follow through on tasks to meet deadlines. Must exhibit strong communication (written and verbal) and customer service skills.
