The candidate must have a law degree from an ABA-accredited law school and be a member of the Bar with 4 years of significant corporate experience with a particular focus on emerging companies and venture capital deals; excellent drafting and analytical skills, good judgment, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to interact effectively with sophisticated client teams; strong desire and ability to integrate into a diverse and collegial team environment is critical, including mentoring and supervising more junior associates; sit in the Boston, Denver, New York or Northern California offices. Should be preferred equity financings for emerging companies, good familiarity with NVCA forms, and M&A, Private Equity or Joint Venture experience.
