Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Drive product quality across the LCS SBU and all associated sites, including establishing Product Quality operational rigor and governance
Own the product quality metrics within the SBU and sites and within the management review processes
Lead and attend business/region QRM operating reviews and business/region leadership staff meetings
Work closely with the LCS Product Quality Champions and Regional Product Quality Directors to help address product quality/reliability issues and remove any communication barriers
Influence product quality/reliability, process development and NPI’s; participates in NPI and PRD reviews
Assist engineering with aggressive but achievable product quality targets and execution to those targets
Assists in driving Problem Solving for any red Bowler metrics
Provides leadership and facilitates constructive conflict and resolution across product quality and the SBU
Focused on high priority Rolling “Top 5” projects
Partner cross functionally across all sites, regions, and business segments, working on key product quality issues
Focused on high priority operational excellence improvements in the SBU
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in one or more of the following: product development, product quality, quality and regulatory assurance, engineering, manufacturing, quality control and/or servicing in a medical device environment
Desired Characteristics
Experience with Product Quality reliability engineering (DfR, DfM, etc)
Master's degree

Influential leader – able to work cross-functionally and drive wins for the business
Project management
Demonstrated experience with regulations and standards in the medical device industry
Demonstrated knowledge of
Able to react with appropriate urgency and professionalism & make decisions under pressure
Strong business acumen – uses financial analyses to make important business decisions and understands key financial metrics, can articulate the company’s business vision and key business objectives, understands business trends and cycles
Ability to handle competing priorities effectively
