SUMMARY: This position is responsible for assisting the Complex Safety Manager in clerical functions. This includes entering data for weekly safety inspection generating work orders relating to safety inspections conducting weekly safety inspections participation on the Safety and Ergonomic Team travel to company sponsored training workshops and maintaining training records for incipient fire force HAZMAT forklift pallet jack and dust mask respirator. Other duties include conducting training submitting the newsletter articles acting as back-up for medical receptionist and supply room personnel inspecting safety equipment maintaining records distributing safety incentive rewards for the complex updating safety manual and any other responsibilities as the need arises. REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School Diploma GED or equivalent. Experience: 1 plus years. Computer Skills: Standard computer skills. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Special Knowledge: Knowledge in mathematics grammar office equipment and business practices is a plus. Supervisory: NA Travel: NA
