The candidate will support and work directly with several partner-level litigators handling complex commercial, product liability, and mass tort cases. Responsibilities will include: legal research, drafting motions and correspondence, written and deposition discovery, case management, and court appearances. Must possess a JD from an accredited law school and a strong academic record. Preference given to the top 10% of graduating class. Must be admitted and in good standing to the Florida Bar. Should preferably have 2-3 years of current experience working in a law firm specializing in complex commercial and business litigation or relevant government experience. Must have experience in all substantive areas of complex litigation including: legal research, written discovery, depositions, motion practice (discovery, dispositive and trial related motions), court appearances, mediations, arbitration, client and witness interviews, and trial work. Must have knowledge of federal, state and local rules of civil procedure. Must have demonstrated fluency in both written and spoken Spanish will be viewed favorably. Stand-up experience in court will be viewed favorably.
