Grain Clerk\u00A0Purpose and Scope/General Summary: Pilgrim\u2019s is looking for a Grain Ingredient Clerk that is responsible for facilitating accuracy and timeliness of soybean meal purchase orders and tracking bill of ladings through consistent and detailed communication between merchandisers, feed mill receivers, vendor management and accounts payable personnel.\u00A0Responsibilities: Manage and create purchase orders in SAP Collect and enter bill of ladings (BOLs) from counterparties Maintain master list of purchase orders in excel for shared files between logistics coordinator and trader Facilitate documentation and communication between new vendors and Vendor Management team Support merchandisers with: Reports of open contract balances Distribution and collection of contract confirmations Assistance in correction of payment discrepancies Other duties as assigned \u00A0Qualifications: High School Diploma/GEDAbility to work well within Trade teamRequires computer aptitude for database management (SAP), general word processing, and spreadsheet programsSAP experience preferredGeneral knowledge of accounting process and ability to reconcile informationMust maintain a high level of accuracyStrong work ethic \u2013 self-motivated and drivenKnowledge of production agriculture a plus but not required\u00A0The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;Base salary range of $18-$20/hr and\u00A0For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, JBS and Pilgrim\u2019s is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role.
