Legal Assistant Job Description

The legal assistant position with Ayala Law Office, PC offers an exciting opportunity for you to rapidly gain legal experience by working with clients in immigration, family, probate and criminal law.

Summary of Responsibilities

Assist the attorneys, clients, and the public.  Act as a liaison between potential new clients and the firm. Provide excellent legal assistance and customer service to potential new clients and existing clients in the Tucson office. 

Essential Functions

Represent Ayala Law Office, PC with professionalism and integrity
Assist with preparing legal documents, letters and forms
Gather relevant information from clients, courts, and police departments
Obtain criminal records
File documents with the local superior and immigration courts


Job Requirements

Ability to work as part of a team
Strong inner motivation to provide excellent services
Client service oriented with ability to work with clients dealing with stressful and high conflict situations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in Spanish required
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Salary


Depending upon experience.  Competitive.
