Collaboration Specialist II (Video Specialist)
The candidate will serve as an escalation point for the Service Desk team regarding more complex issues with systems and/or network environment. Provide firm-wide technical support for conference rooms. This includes video / web conferencing, integrated collaboration equipment and computer connectivity. Work with manager to support major or complex Firm/client events, including the design, testing, installation and positioning of equipment and digital signage as needed for events or meetings. Assist local support with instructing the operational aspects and use of teleconferencing equipment including the Cisco\WebEx environment to team members and end-users. Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory and troubleshoot Cloud and On premise collaboration equipment problems. Participate in the response, investigation, and resolution of security issues per the Firm’s Incident Response Plan. Assist with monitoring and enforcing of compliance to security policies that comprise our Collaboration Endpoints utilizing Cloud and on premise Collaboration Management Systems. Devise and maintain procedures for the accurate and efficient running of firm-wide collaboration equipment. Participate in project review meetings as needed. Act as the subject matter expert with one or more of the firm collaboration systems. Ensure that resolutions to problems are provided in a timely manner. Maintain technical proficiency and industry knowledge through participating in training programs as directed. Participate in regularly scheduled team/project meetings. Assist the local IT support teams as needed. Setup and support remote collaboration spaces to service large virtual depositions and events. Perform other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s Degree is required. Should have 4-6 years of experience in collaboration technologies and/or sound engineering required. Experience with Zoom, Cisco Unified Communications, Microsoft Teams, and Crestron programming preferred. Work experience in lieu of a degree will be considered. Solid understanding of basic networking and switching is required. Diverse knowledge of various audio and video cable formats is required. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft desktop tools and applications is required. Advanced proficiency in Cisco Unified Communications, WebEx, Zoom and Microsoft Teams is required. Subject matter expert in one or more of the firm collaboration systems and certifications is required.
