This is an exciting time to join Honeywell's Guidance & Electrical Systems.Currently seeking a Test Technician II position working for the Customer Support Center/Repair and Overhaul Business that can produce high quality products and services for our Customers. You will be responsible to perform diagnostics testing with automated and manual test operated equipment on both system and CCA level Customer owned product. You will also have to periodically lift up to 35 pounds. Great position, highly visible role.
Able to work extended hours, weekends, and Holidays as needed; serve as back-up and support in the absence of team members.
YOU MUST HAVE:
High School Diploma or GED
2 or more years’ experience in Electronic repair and diagnostics troubleshooting.
Active Security Clearance. (Secret DOD).
Due to Government regulations, must be a U.S. Citizen.
2 years of experience read schematics, follows written procedures, and apply computer skills and technical knowledge to competently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Military Electronic or Avionics background preferred.
Associates Degree in Electronics/Engineering preferred.
Electronic background and degree.
Disposition failures for repair and supply detailed information within e-factory for reliability requirements.
Perform test set-up and tear down of associated equipment and cables, storing in designated locations when not in use.
Ability to work across and test multiple products.
High level of judgment and discretionary decision making.
Knowledge of Guidance and Navigation Electronics desired.
Ability to distinguish between system, station and software events/issues and lead root cause identification and correction.
