Technical Services Support Specialist
The candidate places hardware into production by establishing connections, entering configurations, and testing for functionality. Plans and executes regular technology hardware upgrades. Configures, assigns, deploys, and modifies all aspects of the Firm’s Cisco UC telephone systems and handsets, including all adds, moves, and changes. Manages the health, upgrades, and functionality of the Firm’s print server, Resource Scheduler meeting room software and meeting room signage and Accuroute fax server. Maximizes use of IT assets by providing new hire and employee training on mobile devices, telephones and remote access, writing operating instruction, and interpreting instructions. Deploys, inventories, and upgrades all desktop and laptop PC assets; images all devices using Microsoft SCCM; tests and deploys technology assets for user offices. Administers MaaS360 Mobile Device Management software and Duo MFA software. Serves as a member of the IT security response team. Maintains the loaner laptop fleet. Participates in the budgeting process for all non-data center technology assets. Maintains records of all hardware and software changes and revisions. Sets up technology services for meeting needs along with the Help Desk Technician. Other duties as assigned. Associate’s degree or above in computer science, information systems, or related field is preferred. Prior experience working on a Help Desk, in IT, or similar technical function is required. Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and administering assigned Organizational Units related to use group membership is required.
