What’s the role?

As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for attracting, identifying, assessing, and securing great talent for Shell both internally and externally through collaborative partnerships with key resourcing teams, including Sourcing, Operations, and Marketing. You will work closely with business leaders and HR to understand the resourcing strategy for the business. As an active brand ambassador, you will deliver a positive experience for both hiring managers and candidates.

Requirements:

Must have a legal right to work in the US that does not require sponsorship now or in the future.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum of six (6) years of recruiting experience, with preference for experience in the energy industry and/or in a corporate or agency environment (retained/contingency search or contractor supplier).

Thorough knowledge of candidate sourcing and marketing tactics to identify qualified candidates.

Comprehensive knowledge of business structures, roles and different types of capabilities needed in different roles.

Experience managing candidates in an Applicant Tracking System, such as Kenexa or Workday.

Confidence in coordinating candidate assessments and offer negotiations.

Ability to move hiring managers to expected decisions/outcomes.

Data insight and analysis; continuously use all metrics available to review, anticipate, adjust current priorities and needs. Consider market tracking, application volumes, open requisition numbers, cycle time of recruitment stages, assessment results, diversity of applicants, shortlist, appointments and assessors.

Clear understanding of country and global recruitment policies.

Proven experience building relationships and influencing internal and external stakeholders.
