Real Estate Attorneys with 10 years of experience in complex commercial real estate transactions, including, but not limited to, experience in acquisition and sales transactions and land use and development, particularly in the homebuilder industry. Experience representing developers of residential subdivisions, mixed use projects, and apartment projects is required. The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of real estate acquisition and sale transactions, development and building issues, contract administration and closing work, title insurance, survey, due diligence process, and closing requirements, all as applied to commercial real estate development and transactions. We are seeking candidates with the ability to work well with others in a high pressure environment, who have strong written and oral communication skills, are proactive and detail-oriented. This position can be located in any Akerman office location and/or potentially be remote. Must possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school and be a member of the Pennsylvania, Virginia, and/or Maryland (together with the District of Columbia) bars.
