Legal Assistant (Part-Time)
Duties: Provide professional support to the legal department. Assist in the drafting, organization and maintenance of legal agreements and support the company’s intellectual property activities including the maintenance of patents and trademarks. File and organize all corporate agreements to which the Company is a party. Maintain the database of corporate agreements and maintain associated files. Assist in the coordination and drafting of all Company confidentiality agreements, product-related term sheets, agreement documents, clinical trial research agreements, international licensing agreements and other agreements. Provides oral and written reports to Director, Corporate Development regarding corporate agreements as requested. Support day-to-day patent activities, including maintenance of relevant documentation and files, convening internal meetings with Director, Corporate Development, and tracking payment of associated fees/annuities. Support day-to-day trademark activities, including maintenance of relevant documentation and files, convening internal meetings with Director, Corporate Development, and tracking payment of associated fees/annuities. Provides oral and written reports for Director, Corporate Development regarding intellectual property activities as requested.
