We are looking for a LEAD WEB DEVELOPER who is passionate about user experience, continuous improvement, and incremental delivery methods. The ideal candidate embraces our values (Passion, Collaboration, Accountability, & Humility) and can hit the ground running with leading efforts to expand Designer Brands' mobile digital properties. We are open to remote candidates based out of the United States for this opportunity.

 

AS A LEAD WEB DEVELOPER YOU WILL…

*Be responsible for the technical delivery of user experiences in responsive web projects *Own the technical decisions behind delivering a great responsive user experience *Sit side-by-side with the design team and product owner to identify MVPs *Own & enforce secure coding standards through the use of automated code review tools (e.g. GIT Stash) *Mentor a team of developers just as passionate about web apps as you are *Collaborate with mobile engineering to identify needs and opportunities within the web services layer *Partner with our QA team to automate functional testing *Responsible for the analytics solution middleware, knowledge transfer, evangelizing to team

THE EXPERIENCE YOU HAVE…

*Minimum of 5 years development *2-5 years' experience building responsive web apps *Well-versed in client-side MVC *Expertise in integrating with web services *Experience with Tealium, Ominiture, or Google Tag Manager and Analytics *Demonstrated previous leadership of projects *Bachelor's Degree in a technology related field or equivalent work experience required
