CUSTODIAN

Medford Township is seeking applicants for the position of Custodian within the Department of Neighborhood Services. Duties include cleaning bathrooms, offices, and common areas, sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, disposal of trash and recyclables, restocking dispensers, and minor buildings and grounds maintenance including snow removal on sidewalks and parking areas. The ideal candidate will have diverse experience in the performance of custodial duties and buildings and grounds maintenance. Applicants should be mechanically inclined, have a clean driving record, be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, be in good physical health, and submit to a thorough background check and drug screening prior to employment. Salary for this position is $17.57/hr. or $36,545/yr., this position is covered under a Union Contract.
