Marketing and Business Development Manager
The candidate will lead all marketing initiatives for our IP and Life Sciences teams, including the development of marketing and business development plans and the day to day execution of plan deliverables. Create and implement integrated marketing campaigns for the IP and Life Sciences practice groups. Manage and implement social media strategy, as well as broader PR and communications, including ad development and placement, sponsorships, marketing collateral generation, event management (seminars, networking/social), website updates, etc.. Develop and optimize relationships with relevant industry associations and organizations. Work with the lawyers and the Marketing & BD team to identify opportunities to expand client relationships, advise partners and teams on new business opportunities, and prepare compelling pitches and respond to requests for proposals on behalf of the groups. Should have 7+ years of marketing and business development experience, preferably in the legal services sector. Experience in the intellectual property space and, or Life Sciences sector is highly desirable. Experience with InDesign and other design software tools is highly desirable.
