The candidate will assist in investigating complaints of unfair or inappropriate treatment of employees. Will provide preventive, practical, and proactive legal advice on a broad range of employment law and employee relations issues. Prepare and deliver training materials regarding various employment topics. Stay abreast of new legal decisions and statutory developments and provide advice to clients regarding those developments. Manage all aspects of employment litigation and administrative charges, including risk assessment, development of case strategy, and management of outside counsel. Help structure relationships with managed service providers, staffing companies, and other providers of contingent labor. Assist with due diligence related to potential mergers, acquisitions, and other business combinations. Provide guidance on employment-related policies, programs, and initiatives. Provide employment law guidance on issues covering employees across the United States, utilizing outside counsel where necessary. Provide legal advice concerning immigration-related compliance and mobility issues.
