Launch innovations in nearly every commercial and defense aircraft platform

Gain valuable experience across the business enterprise for the international leader in aerospace wheels and brakes. You will contribute to the engineering design, analysis, and testing of these mechanical systems that safely land approximately 2.4 million people every Way around the world. Your work sessions will be tailored to take advantage of your course of study and yet challenge you with complex projects that will give you new engineering insights and broader perspective to take back to the classroom and enhance your educational experience as well.

Plan, execute, and report test protocol to qualify aircraft wheel and brake programs and evaluate new design concepts.

Collaborate with Operations to help inject new material and process understanding, such as with Carbon-Carbon composites, into our standard manufacturing process.

Challenge your creative skills by translating needed changes and innovations into new wheel and brake design via collaborative design and analysis.

20 Perform test planning, execution, and reporting

20 Learn impact of stress/strain, thermal, and dynamics on product performance

20 Coordinate material technology with Manufacturing

20 Execute fundamental project engineering

20 Data post-processing, analysis, and presentation

YOU MUST HAVE

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

WE VALUE

Must be able to participate in an internship, prior to completing current degree program

Excellent communication skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

Individuals who are self-motivated and require limited supervision and take initiative to drive toward project completion

Strong mechanical aptitude and an interest in advanced materials, such as Carbon-Carbon composites

An appreciation for coordinating engineering activity with a cross-functional team

Ability to confidently discuss results and influence decisions at varying levels across the organization

Desire to work for a global leader in aerospace system supply
