Job Overview

A prominent litigation boutique is seeking Litigation Associates (graduating classes 2020–2025) to join its Midtown Manhattan office. This firm represents clients across the investment management industry, including hedge funds, private equity, mutual funds, credit funds, and structured finance entities. The associate will gain hands-on litigation experience in high-stakes cases involving federal securities fraud, shareholder rights, fiduciary duties, and valuation-related litigation. The ideal candidate will bring strong academic credentials, exceptional writing skills, and an eagerness to build litigation expertise in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Duties

• Support and lead litigation matters involving:

  • Federal securities fraud

  • Class action opt-out cases

  • Shareholder and creditor rights actions

  • M&A disputes and valuation litigation

• Handle responsibilities across all stages of litigation including:

  • Legal research and drafting of pleadings, motions, and briefs

  • Discovery, including depositions and document review

  • Case analysis and trial preparation

  • Participation in appeals as needed

• Collaborate closely with partners and clients on case strategy and execution

Requirements

• Law school graduate from the class of 2020 through 2025

• Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school

• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills

• Demonstrated interest in litigation and financial industry matters

• Eagerness to take on substantial responsibility early in career

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility to waive in

• Superior writing and oral communication abilities

• Intellectual curiosity and sound legal judgment
