Employee Benefits Attorney

The candidate should have 3+ years of relevant experience with ERISA and qualified retirement plans and/or health and welfare plans. Experience with non-qualified deferred compensation plans and executive compensation would be a plus. Responsibilities will include drafting plan documents and employee communications, overseeing plan governance and compliance and negotiating agreements with third-party administrators, providers and vendors. Must have excellent academic credentials, demonstrate strong writing and communication skills and be licensed (or willing and able to become licensed) and in good standing to practice law in the state of Michigan.
