The candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys with all aspects of processing a wide range of litigation, pre-litigation and compliance related issues as well as undertake projects in other subject areas, including franchising and corporate transactions. Intake, docketing, calendaring, tracking deadlines. Legal holds and discovery, including document collection and production. Assist attorneys in special projects. Pre-litigation and litigation avoidance projects. Letter writing and responding. Work cross-functionally to manage a large volume of matters, and arrange for indemnification. Work closely with the Risk department re insurance coverage. Engage with franchisees professionally as needed. Assist practice area with reporting, tracking and data management. Assist attorneys in other practice areas, including franchising and corporate transactional matters with various tasks such as preparation and production of franchise-related legal documents, due diligence process associated with review of transactions, and corporate governance.
