Come join a growing team in Humana IT that will enable the fulfillment of IT's strategic objectives. The Program Manager role in the Organizational Strategy team will lead and manage the organization, coordination, and execution of initiatives supporting IT's talent development strategies.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic self-starter and leader who collaborates and influences effectively across different levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
The IT Organizational Strategy Program Manager organizes and drives the coordination and execution of initiatives and programs supporting IT's talent development strategy and needs. A part of the program manager's responsibility is to ensure that budgets and schedules are set, roles and responsibilities among key stakeholders are clear, and that the appropriate organizational support is being allocated to achieve Humana IT's talent development objectives.
With the exposure to IT's organizational dynamics and performance, the role incumbent will be in the position to influence department's talent strategy and priorities. He or she will also make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding the approach to initiative execution, and will perform work without direction. The IT Organizational Strategy Program Manager job will exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Responsibilities include:
Accomplish strategic objectives related to IT talent development by overseeing multiple initiatives' activities assigned
Operate as the program / project manager / scrum master for the organization's talent-related initiatives and priorities, which may include Upskilling Programs, establishment of Leadership Development programs, the creation of an IT Onboarding Program, and others
Assist the IT Learning Strategies team and IT's Chief of Staff in conducting market research in support of talent strategies and initiatives
Assist in the planning and execution of change management activities supporting Humana IT's learning and talent initiative needs and program implementation
Prepare reports and analyses as required by the initiatives assigned
Provide leadership reporting on status, risks, issues, dependencies for each project assigned, and ensure clear actions are identified and taken to mitigate issues and risks
Manage the linkages and interdependencies of initiatives assigned with our bodies of work occurring in other parts of the IT organization or the enterprise
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio
Passion for talent development or enablement-types of work
Applied knowledge of Agile methodology for executing initiatives
Strong organizational skills and experience in initiative and program planning and execution
Demonstrated high learning agility and tolerance for ambiguity
Strong collaborator, both virtually and in-person
Demonstrated strengths in problem solving, communications, interpersonal skills, big picture thinking balanced with attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
MBA or other Advanced Degree
Formal change management experience
Experience in strategy development and process design
PMP, Scrum Master, and/or ADKAR certification
