A prominent law firm in New York City is actively seeking a Litigation Associate with 3-6 years of substantive litigation experience to contribute to a high-level practice focused on multifaceted civil litigation and regulatory investigations. Duties:

• Handle all phases of litigation from intake through trial and potential appeal

• Conduct legal research and analyze complex issues across practice areas

• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and briefs in state and federal court

• Manage written discovery and document production

• Prepare and defend depositions and interviews of witnesses

• Participate in trial preparation, including exhibit selection and witness preparation

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including regulatory, transactional, and sector-specific practices

• Contribute to strategic decision-making in litigation and investigation matters

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of litigation experience in a law firm or in-house setting

• Exposure to fiduciary or business-related disputes preferred

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases or workstreams simultaneously

• Strong verbal advocacy and writing capabilities

• Ability to build client relationships and work in client-facing roles

• Detail-oriented, independent, and solutions-driven

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the New York State Bar

• California Bar membership is also acceptable for select matters

Skills:

• Proficient in case management and litigation strategy

• Advanced legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar platforms

• Skilled in drafting high-quality written work product under tight deadlines

• Excellent interpersonal skills for team-based collaboration

• Adaptable and responsive in fast-paced environments

• Creative thinker with sound judgment and analytical rigor
