Senior Legal Counsel
The candidate will be involved in advising on various commercial matters, primarily involving IT services transactions with Financial Services clients in the insurance, banking and capital markets industries. Should have 3-7 years of information technology-related commercial law experience in a leading law firm or in-house legal department. Must have the ability to draft, negotiate and manage deals independently. Must have experience negotiating and drafting services agreements, non-disclosure agreements, outsourcing agreements, software licenses, alliance agreements, and various other documents related to IT services transactions. Should have expertise with legal issues involving intellectual property, privacy, cybersecurity and technology. Should possess excellent legal and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks (prioritizing as necessary), have a strong work ethic and excellent communication and organizational skills.
