Description

The Lead, IT Disaster Recovery will be a highly experience DR professional and leader who will provide specific management to disaster recovery processes and documentation, recovery plan development and maintenance, program metrics and reporting, program communications and education. The Lead, IT Disaster Recovery person works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Responsibilities

The Lead, IT Disaster Recovery leads a small team as part of the larger ITDR program focused on all aspects of disaster recovery including plan development, testing, governance, communication, metrics and reporting. Candidate will have extensive experience with the functions and processes associates with a DR team and understand IT structure, incident and event management. Candidate will provide internal management of specific program functions while also providing full DR service and support to assigned business area(s).

Specific program management responsibilities include:

Process management & maintenance

Recovery Plan development & maintenance

Program Standards & supporting documentation & maintenance

Program Data, Metrics & Reporting

Program Communication, Training & Awareness

DR software system management

In addition, Lead will partner with ServiceNow, Archer, PowerApp, PowerBI and SQL teams in support of the DR Program. Requirement to work closely with various operational and support groups within IT and with outside groups including Crisis Management, Enterprise Risk Management and Enterprise Information Protection. Candidate may be involved in the evaluation and selection of vendors to ensure service level agreements meet business continuance and disaster recovery planning requirements. Influences program strategy, development of goals and annual planning. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determines/recommends the best course of action.

Required Qualifications

7 years of disaster recovery experience

3 years of leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

Demonstrated leadership including the ability to grow and develop other people

Ability to translate business requirements into technology requirements

Strong management skills including work-planning, meeting facilitation, communication, reporting and issue resolution

Quality and efficiency focused

Experience with MS Office Suite, ServiceNow, PowerBI

Experience with process and quality management

Ability to manage detailed data analysis

Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

Excellent oral and written communication & presentation skills

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
