Call Center, Customer Service
Coordinates and facilitates information flow between control office, hostess, and kitchen personnel, resulting in fast and efficient delivery of food to patients. Responsible for specific room tickets, guest trays and other duties. Ensures payment and accountability for guest trays. Checks outgoing trays for diet compatibility.
Training and Experience: At least one year experience of restaurant waitress experience required. Workers will receive on the job training.
Job Knowledge: Knowledge of tray assembly procedure. Good understanding of proper handling of dishes and food to avoid infection of others or self.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Create maximum patient and guest satisfaction. Utilize interpersonal and customer service skills to create a positive interaction and outcome with all patients, guests, and staff. Communicate with all staff to coordinate meal and/or nourishment delivery with treatment to trays as appropriate. Report concerns or complaints to proper personnel.
Ability to perform multiple tasks in a high stress environment.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
Demonstrates and maintains a sense of urgency and timeliness to ensure patient satisfaction.
Working knowledge of or trainable in use of diet office computer system and printers
Demonstrates a keen sense of time management.
Assumes responsibility for a tray flow in the absence of managers.
Exhibits a positive, enthusiastic attitude, committed to a team effort.
Accountable for guest tray charge ticket to be out on proper tray so that the Room Service Hostess delivers the tray to the proper room.
Ability to coordinate and delegate tasks.
Ability to check accuracy of trays for diet compliance and ensure timeliness of patient food delivery.
Acts as liaison between diet office, Room Service Hostess, and kitchen to ensure timely and accurate flow of information, ensuring prompt and efficient delivery of patient food.
Perform any and all reasonable job-related tasks as requested by department management.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Walking between work areas and throughout the kitchen
Lifting up to 50 pounds
Pushing/pulling carts up to 75 pounds.
Standing up to eight hours daily Walking into refrigerators and freezers, to retrieve and store food.
Must be familiar with all kitchen equipment.
This position has stressful time pressures and requires good time management.
6-2:30PM, 1:30-10:00PM, 7 days a week
