IP Paralegal Specialist

the candidate will be interacting with internal and outside IP attorneys and agents to ensure the timely receipt of patent office communications and timely filing of appropriate responses. Accurately docketing and entering other IP data into relevant databases. Handling patent filing and prosecution (e.g., preparing formal documents, filing applications, prosecution documents, Information Disclosure Statements, formalities, notarization/legalization procedures, interacting with international agents, and e-filing in the USPTO and PCT systems). Managing patent attorney dockets and maintaining the docketing databases. Depending upon experience and development, assisting with trademark paralegal duties (docketing, filing, etc.). Depending upon experience and development, assisting with contract review and process management. Handling all other intellectual property administrative activities, including utilizing document management systems to maintain electronic files. Assisting attorneys with other IP administrative matters as needed.
