The candidate will support practice by preparing documents like affidavits and legal correspondence, as well as organizing and maintaining files. Daily functions may include filing pleadings with court clerks and helping prepare for trials by organizing exhibits. Must be an experienced Legal Assistant to work with attorneys primarily on domestic, civil and criminal matters. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel is required, as well as being able to multitask effectively. Work is performed in a team setting, as well as on an individual basis and is performed under the supervision of the Office Manager.
