A respected regional law firm with offices in Illinois and Missouri is seeking a motivated and experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join its litigation practice group. Location

• Belleville, IL

Duties

• Manage litigation matters across areas such as personal injury, product liability, commercial and construction litigation, employment law, and workers’ compensation

• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda

• Conduct legal research and manage complex discovery

• Attend and argue motions in court, participate in hearings and depositions

• Collaborate with a litigation team to support strategic case development

• Assist with trial preparation and overall case management

Requirements

• 3–7 years of substantive litigation experience

• Demonstrated ability to manage cases from inception through resolution

• Experience in motion practice and courtroom appearances

• Proven success managing discovery and drafting pleadings

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois or Missouri

• Willingness to obtain reciprocal licensure in the other state if not already held
