Intellectual Property/Patent Associate
The candidate Should have 2+ years of experience in the intellectual property group of a law firm and significant experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications, primarily in the mechanical arts, and preferably with some experience in trademark application preparation and prosecution, and handling ancillary issues. Qualification for USPTO registration examination required, and prior passage of examination preferred. Must be proactive, with a strong business sense and communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships and must have strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, drafting, and issue resolution skills. Must also have the ability to manage multiple files and competing deadlines and a demonstrated commitment to teamwork and client service.
