Team Lead, Forensics and Incident Response

The candidate will be conducting digital forensics examinations and investigations. Anticipating adversary actions and recommending timely countermeasures. Reviewing files for malicious content and conducting malware analysis. Lead tactical efforts to contain network intrusions and return the network to a secure state. Document findings and present those findings to senior leadership. Cross-train peer team members in incident response and digital forensics practices. Developing incident response procedures, documentation, and metrics. Assets in security assessments. Bachelor’s degree required; 10+ years significant experience in information security, military or law enforcement, public service or private sector security organization preferred, with progressively responsible experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. Strong management experience in information security, digital forensics, incident response, investigations, risk management, and security planning. Experience in auditing and contract/vendor negotiation. Must be an intelligent, articulate, and persuasive leader who is able to communicate security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff; Highly skilled at developing relationships and rapport with key stakeholders. Must have a solid understanding of information technology, networking, host operating systems, cyber security platforms, and cyber security at an enterprise level. Must have some experience working with or for international business entities; experience working within a law firm is a plus. Must have the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology landscape. Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Must have a customer focus and ability to manage client expectations; ability to work in a dynamic environment with critical deadlines. One or more of the following certifications are preferred. Work an adjusted schedule and evening/weekend hours in order to meet deadlines.
