Job Overview: A law firm located in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a Worker's Compensation Attorney who will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation in workers' compensation cases. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of relevant experience, with a strong emphasis on effective communication, billing hours, and a Maryland Bar admission. Admission to the D.C. Bar is a plus.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in workers' compensation cases.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and develop case strategies.
• Attend hearings, trials, and mediations to represent clients effectively.
• Communicate frequently and effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and all levels of management.
• Manage and maintain accurate billing hours and case records.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Admission to the Maryland Bar is required; admission to the D.C. Bar is a plus.
• 2-3 years of experience practicing as a Workers Compensation Attorney.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in managing and maintaining billing hours.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with clients and all levels of management.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Maryland Bar is required.
• Admission to the D.C. Bar is a plus.

Skills:
