Legal Counsel, Commercial Transactions
The candidate will draft, negotiate, and successfully close high volume and various complexity commercial agreements, including technology and real estate licenses, digital services agreements, marketing agreements, and sales and partnership agreements. Will provide legal advice to team leaders and members with a thorough understanding of a Colocation and SaaS business, and the legal and regulatory environment that surrounds it. Draft, review, and support the commercial transactions team in negotiating data protection and other related terms, and work alongside Firms Privacy Office to educate and explain the company’s practice and compliance status to internal and external audiences. Work with our sales, product managers and emerging services team to ensure a deep understanding of products, features, and new areas and uses of data and services to provide legal explanations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and industry practice.
