Economic Consultant/Analyst, Financial Services Office, International Tax and Transaction Services (Transfer Pricing) (Senior)
Duties: Address transfer pricing planning, documentation, application for financial accounting and regulatory requirements, and controversy issues associated with intercompany transactions in the financial services sector. Apply complex transfer pricing concepts and economic/financial knowledge to resolve financial services sector client challenges, specifically across banking, insurance and wealth and asset management clients. Develop a robust and working knowledge of sector specific issues. Provide a fully integrated approach to transfer pricing by preparing documents, advising on debt capacity and acquisition transactions, participating in advanced pricing agreements (APAs) and assisting in defending transfer pricing in tax audits across the world. Supply innovative transfer pricing and economic ideas alongside responsive services and work products working closely with international tax and transaction tax specialists to bring multi-dimensional solutions to clients. Model financial outcomes, value businesses and intangible assets, and develop practical planning approaches to solve business problems. Coordinate work with other client service colleagues globally to drive collaboration and integrated client solutions. Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services focusing on more complex, judgmental and/or specialized issues. Demonstrate technical capabilities and professional knowledge across specific US Internal Revenue Code Sections and the OECD Guidelines. Learn about EY and its service lines and actively assess and present ways to apply knowledge and services.
