The candidate should have 5 years of business law experience focusing on transactional skills to manage and broaden our client service to businesses and businesspeople that go beyond our litigation offerings; will include advice work; contract structuring, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating; and, general risk management. Must be able to manage a wide variety of clients and business transactions in a fast-paced environment with an entrepreneurial mind-set. Should be ready and excited to grow a practice and provide top-notch client service. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Must also enjoy working in a team environment where self-starters thrive. Should have demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships; knowledge of case law and civil procedure is required. Should have demonstrated the ability to analyze complex facts and evidence. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office Suite; excellent client service or interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work under pressure and handle conflicting priorities; ability to maintain confidential information; ability to work independently, and as part of a team, using initiative in all aspects of assignments; excellent time management skills; strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
