Duties:

• Manage and litigate first-party property, bad faith, and insurance coverage cases.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Take and defend depositions in both state and federal courts.
• Represent clients in court appearances and trials.
• Collaborate with team members to strategize on case management and business development.
• Provide client-focused legal advice and risk assessment.

Requirements:

• Experience in first-party property and insurance coverage litigation.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cases effectively in state and federal courts.
• Experience in drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Previous trial experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in New York (additional State Admissions are a plus).

Skills:

• Proficient in legal research and writing.
• Strong litigation and case management skills.
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic advice.
• Courtroom experience, including trial preparation and representation.
• Time management and organizational skills to manage multiple cases effectively.
