Where you fit
As Maintenance, Turnaround and Projects (MTP) Manager, you will be responsible for the execution of all activities in the field, including routine and non-routine maintenance, growth capital projects, and turnarounds. You will be a member of the site leadership team and will own the following work processes:
Maintenance execution
Turnaround planning & execution
Capital project execution
Accountabilities include:
Efficient planning and execution of all routine and non-routine maintenance work, including pit-stops and catalyst changes.
Development and execution of projects, from project identification through construction and initial start-up.
Lead and deliver all capital and maintenance projects and Turnarounds safely, on schedule and within approved budgets, using AMS standards and practices including compliance to Downstream Project and Turnaround Governance.
Manage annualized TA, Maintenance Capital in concert with maintenance costs
Delivery of industry leading Maintenance, Projects, and Turnaround results (HSE, Cost, Schedule, Quality) consistent with agreed upon business premises, execution strategies, and technical assurance requirements.
Accountable for the Health, Safety, Security and Environment performance of the site with direct responsibility/ accountability for all personnel who are executing work in the field.
Onsite leadership, development, and implementation of strategies and tactics for both short- and long-term performance of the site.
Develop and maintain job-specific skills and competences for the site's Maintenance, Projects and TA personnel.
Ownership and development of hourly and field professional skill pool management with support of and in concert with peer Site Leadership Team members.
Collaborate with fellow Site Leadership Team members to deliver the site vision, strategy, and business results.

Requirements:
What we need from you
Engineering or Technical Degree with strong business acumen
Minimum 10 years of diverse work experience in refinery or chemical operations
Proven leadership skills
Proven experience in Turnaround Planning and Execution. Experience in Maintenance and Project execution is highly preferred.
Ability to work across business lines, develop and implement strategy, and drive results outside of own functional organization.
Ability to engage a diverse range of stakeholders, influence senior leaders and staff in the organization.
