This posting will be used to conduct an ongoing recruitment and will remain open until all positions have been filled.

Why does the job exist?

To provide delivery of legal services on behalf of the Child Support Enforcement Division.

How does it get done?

By assisting families in reaching economic self-sufficiency through establishment of paternity, collection of support from non-custodial parents, and establishing and enforcing court-ordered child support and medical support obligations.

Who are the customers?

Parties of child support cases, Child Support Enforcement Division field office management and staff.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has experience in negotiating child support agreements, stipulated orders, and acknowledgements of paternity; representing agencies and clients before administrative tribunals, in trials, and/ or in District Courts; drafting legal documents pertaining to family law or child support; working with child support matters.

Minimum Qualification

Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited school of law and five (5) years of experience in the practice of law. Substitutions may apply. See Substitution Table below.

Working Conditions
