Job Overview:

Duties:

• Advise clients on a range of finance-related matters, including fund and leveraged financing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various financing documents and agreements.
• Manage a variety of transactions, ensuring all aspects of deals are executed efficiently and in compliance with relevant laws.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other professionals within the firm to strategize and provide legal counsel on complex financial issues.
• Conduct legal research to stay updated on relevant changes in finance law and provide informed advice to clients.
• Maintain a high level of client interaction, providing regular updates and guidance throughout the transaction process.

Requirements:

• 5-6 years of relevant experience in a law firm setting, specifically in finance law or similar practice areas.
• Strong academic credentials and demonstrated expertise in finance law.
• Exceptional drafting, writing, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to think critically and solve complex legal problems.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar in Texas (or eligibility to become licensed in Texas).

Skills:

• Expertise in fund and leveraged financing.
• Excellent legal writing and analytical skills.
