Responsibilities

The Senior Insurance Product Manager monitors product performance and recommends changes, cost adjustments or resource additions. Engages in product bid filings, implementing product changes, and member communication. Provides timely and accurate information and status updates to functional leaders. Responsible for identifying product gaps, recommending product changes based on research and analysis. This position also heavily involved with implementing the designed products into the markets, makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components. This position exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree - or 5 years of related work experience like product development design experience

Previous Medicare, Medicaid or Commercial product development experience and knowledge

Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Experience in project management

Experience with interacting and presenting to senior level leadership

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with operational and/or new plan implementation deliverables
